SEATAC WAGE PROPOSITION PASSES
A hand recount of the ballots cast on SeaTac Proposition 1 —
which would raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour for all
employees in the hospitality and transportation industries in
the city of SeaTac, Wash. — doesn't look to have changed Prop
1's marginal victory.
Common Sense SeaTac's committee, the citizen and
business group that opposed Prop 1, requested King County
recount the ballots on the measure, where only 77 votes separated the two sides with just over 6,000 votes cast.
The living wage measure is expected to be implemented
on Jan. 1.

as vice president of franchising and
will oversee the U.S., Caribbean/Mexico/Latin America, Canada and Brazil
for Hertz's Dollar and Thrifty franchise business.
Prior to joining Hertz, Barton served as executive vice president and CEO of Franchise Services of
North America (FSNA), which owns and operates the
U-Save Car & Truck Rental brand.

I believe the leadership is in place. All they need
is a good feet plan, continued sound operating
