RENT A TOLL LTD. ISSUED PATENT FOR PREPAID TOLLING MODEL RENT A TOLL LTD. ANNOUNCED THAT IT HAS BEEN ISSUED U.S. Patent No. 8,195,506 for its duration-based prepaid tolling model, Pass 24. Pass 24 includes a system, method and computer-read- able process for billing based on the duration of a service period for providing tolling services to rental and corpo- rate fl eet vehicles. After paying a fl at fee for the service, customers are allowed unlimited toll usage — without having to stop to pay a cash toll — per 24-hour period of the duration of the rental. ROUSH CLEANTECH, GREEN ALTERNATIVE SYSTEMS INTRODUCE AUTOGAS SHUTTLE BUS R OUSH CleanTech unveiled its new propane autogas shuttle bus converted by its newest preferred industry partner, Green Alternative Systems (GAS). The ROUSH CleanTech shuttle bus has completed Federal Transit Administra- tion's New Model Bus Testing Program ("Altoona Testing") and is certifi ed for sale in all 50 states by the California Air Resources Board and Envi- ronmental Protection Agency. It is equipped with a Ford 28 November/December 2012 E-450 chassis with a 6.8-liter, V10 engine and a 41-gallon propane autogas fuel tank. The ROUSH CleanTech propane autogas fuel system delivers equivalent horse- power, torque and towing capacity compared to gasoline versions of the same models, but emits 20% less nitrogen oxide, 60% less carbon monoxide and up to 25% less greenhouse gases, according to the company. POWER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY A merican Express ranked highest among U.S. credit card companies for the sixth consecutive year in a customer satisfaction survey conducted by J.D. Power and Associates. The annual nation- wide study released in late August ranked American Express high- est among 11 of the larg- est credit card issuers based on customer inter- action, billing and pay- ment processes, credit card terms, rewards programs, benefi ts and services, and problem resolution. The study also found that American Express scored highest in both live and automated phone interaction due to the availability of mobile apps, experiential servicing and dispute resolution. TSD RENTAL.NET'S CREDIT CARD ADMINISTRATOR NOW SUPPORTS CREDIT CARD PROCESSING THROUGH FIRST DATA QR CODE SUPPORT TSD RENTAL.NET now converts car rental agreement information for use as a QR code, allowing rental customers to access rental agreement details quickly and easily from scan-enabled mobile devices. Identifying data combinations, such as rental agreement and license number, ensure a unique code and web address for each contract. ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS FOR MULTIPLE CURRENCIES TSD has expanded its integration of currency conversion in the latest version of TSD RENTAL.NET to broaden reporting capabilities and offer greater control over cash payments in alternate (or "foreign") currencies. Each location can decide which foreign currencies will be accepted for cash payments; all payment amounts remain traceable back to the original currency presented. Also, when reports are run for multiple locations with different curren- cies, all amounts, including payment and fi nancial data, can be converted to the system currency to facilitate comparisons between locations.
