Unfortunately, just because one state Supreme Court ruled in this fashion does not mean that other courts in the U.S. will rule in the same man- ner. However, this ruling will help out the industry in the long run. David is a real "trailblazer" for 4 November/December 2012 the rental vehicle industry and is a very dedicated to getting fair justice for us all. From Niall Thomas Johnson on ARN's LinkedIn, 9/13/12, Re- "Should you create a mobile app or a mobile car rental site?": Just an observation, many rental car companies have mobile ver- sions of their sites, so naturally they may approach the idea of an app with so me caution. First and foremost, one must do a cost benefi t analysis, conduct market research, etc. In other words, would there be suffi cient bang for one's buck? If a rental company elected to go with an AUTO RENTAL NEWS app, perhaps pilot it on a smaller scale for the more exclusive (for want of a better term) renters, such as National's Emerald VIP club or Hertz's Presidents Club. An app may also prove advanta- geous if attempted with Enter- prise Holding's WeCar program or Hertz on Demand.
